Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with concentration, clear thinking and bringing order to a busy mind. In crystal lore it is also linked to the teeth and bones, to concentration and study, and to clearing mental clutter.

Metaphysical Traditions:
Regarded in tradition as a stone of learning and focus, said to steady the mind during study and decision making.

Cool Facts:
Fluorite gave its name to the word "fluorescence" – many pieces glow blue or violet under UV light.
It forms perfect cubes and octahedrons naturally, and can be cleaved into an octahedron with a gentle tap.
The name Blue John belongs only to the banded purple fluorite from Castleton in Derbyshire.
