Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with good luck, harmony and steady confidence. In crystal lore it is also linked to the kidneys and water balance, to the heart, and to long life, luck and prosperity.
Metaphysical Traditions:
Prized in China for over 7,000 years as a stone of virtue and protection, carried as a luck talisman.
Cool Facts:
"Jade" covers two different minerals: nephrite and the rarer jadeite; most carvings are nephrite.
Nephrite is tougher than steel – its interlocking fibres made it ideal for Stone Age axes and Maori weapons.
Han dynasty royalty were buried in suits of jade plates stitched with gold thread.
