Known as the "dolphin stone", regarded in tradition as carrying the peace of the Caribbean sea.

Cool Facts:
Larimar is blue pectolite, found in only one place on Earth – a single mountainside near Barahona in the Dominican Republic.
Its blue comes from copper replacing calcium in the mineral.
It was named in 1974 by Miguel Méndez after his daughter Larissa and mar, the Spanish for sea.
