Cool Facts:
Lemon quartz is quartz that has been heat-treated and irradiated to give its vivid lemon-yellow colour.
It is sometimes sold as "oro verde" (green gold) quartz because of its faint green tint.
Like all quartz it is a 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, hard enough for everyday jewellery.
