Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with energy, focus and grounded confidence. In crystal lore it is also linked to stamina, to clearing a foggy head, and to getting moving again.

Metaphysical Traditions:
Regarded in tradition as a stone that pairs the lift of quartz with the steadying weight of iron.

Cool Facts:
The red is hematite – iron oxide – included in the quartz as it grew, which is why it is also called hematoid quartz.
Quartz is piezoelectric: squeeze it and it produces a tiny voltage, which is how quartz watches keep time.
The colour deepens where the iron is thickest, so no two pieces are banded the same.
