Holistic Healing:
Gently grounding, Selenite clarifies thinking and promotes optimism. Quietens the mind. An excellent channeller and aids yogic practice. Associated with the spine, nervous system and athletic flexibility.
Metaphysical Traditions:
Believed to aid clairvoyance and psychic practices. A natural cleanser and charger. Placing your stones on a slice of selenite, or in a selenite bowl or plate, will naturally cleanse and charge your crystals.
About Selenite & Satin Spar
Selenite and Satin Spar are both varieties within the gypsum crystal family and are often referred to interchangeably in the crystal trade. However, they are not technically the same stone.
True Selenite is rarer and typically appears clear or transparent. Satin Spar, on the other hand, is more opaque, fibrous in appearance, and far more commonly available. Most items such as bowls, wands, and decorative pieces are made from Satin Spar.
To avoid confusion for customers, we use the term Selenite/Satin Spar to describe the Satin Spar material widely sold as “Selenite.” When referring to genuine Selenite, we will clearly label it as True Selenite.
