Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with renewal, meditation and connection to nature. In crystal lore it is also linked to the heart and the digestion, to the muscles, and to gentle meditation and inner peace.

Metaphysical Traditions:
Regarded in tradition as a stone of regeneration and of awakening inner energy.

Cool Facts:
Serpentine is named for its scaly, snakeskin-like surface, and is the state rock of California.
It forms when ocean-floor rocks react with seawater, so it often marks where ancient oceans closed.
Serpentine is also found in Scotland, in Shetland and at Portsoy in Aberdeenshire, and was used in decorative stonework.
