I am very satisfied with the tiger’s eye pendulum I purchased. It is well made, visually appealing, and easy to work with in an intuitive way. The stone has a pleasant energy, gives clear responses, and works great for both beginners and more experienced users.

About Tiger Eye  –

Tiger's Eye is a golden-brown quartz with a silky sheen that rolls across the surface when you turn it, an effect called chatoyancy. The shimmer comes from quartz growing around fine fibres of altered crocidolite (a blue amphibole), with iron oxides giving the gold colour. South Africa has been the classic source for over a century.

It forms in banded iron formations, where silica fills and replaces fibrous veins of crocidolite as the rock is altered.

Cool Facts  –

Tiger eye's silky bands are quartz intergrown with fine fibres of crocidolite asbestos.

Roman soldiers reportedly carried tiger eye into battle as a protective stone.

Most tiger eye comes from South Africa and Western Australia.

Scientists still debate whether Tiger's Eye is a true pseudomorph replacing crocidolite or whether the quartz and fibres grew together through repeated cracking and sealing.
