Rings are the hardest-worn piece of jewellery anyone owns, so the stone matters as much as the setting. Quartz, agate and jasper at 7 on the Mohs scale stand up to daily wear, while softer stones such as fluorite, calcite and malachite are better kept for occasions. The band is 925 silver throughout rather than a plated base, which means it can be polished back when it darkens. If a size is not listed it has usually sold, so it is worth checking back.
