Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with focus, grounding and clearing the mind. In crystal lore it is also linked to the blood and circulation, to energy and stamina, and to keeping the feet firmly on the ground.

Metaphysical Traditions:
Regarded in tradition as combining the amplifying quality of quartz with the grounding of hematite.

Cool Facts:
Fire quartz (hematoid quartz) is quartz shot through with red and orange hematite, an iron oxide.
The iron was carried into the growing crystal by mineral-rich water, so the colour sits in clouds and veils inside the stone.
It is also sold as "harlequin quartz" when the hematite forms tiny red flecks.
