Cool Facts:
Kunzite is the pink to lilac variety of the mineral spodumene, coloured by traces of manganese.
It is named after George F. Kunz, the famous Tiffany & Co. gemmologist who described it in 1903.
Its colour can soften in strong sunlight, which is why it's sometimes called an "evening stone".
