About Lepidolite  –

Lepidolite is a lilac to rose-violet mica that glitters with tiny flakes. It is one of the main natural sources of lithium and is often found with pink tourmaline, which creates beautiful two-colour pieces.

It forms in lithium-rich granite pegmatites, crystallising late as the last fluids of the magma cool.
