Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with confidence, willpower and a sense of abundance. In crystal lore it is also linked to vitality, to shielding from negativity, and to seeing things through to the finish.

Metaphysical Traditions:
Regarded in tradition as a stone of prosperity and drive, kept in workshops and tills for good fortune.

Cool Facts:
Pyrite grows in near perfect cubes, and its name comes from the Greek pyr, "fire", because it sparks when struck.
Its metallic gleam earned it the nickname fool's gold, though real gold is soft and heavy while pyrite is brittle and light.
Spanish navigators once carried pyrite as a fire-starter, and it was used in the earliest wheel-lock firearms.
