Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with gentle love, self-kindness and emotional comfort. In crystal lore it is also linked to the heart, to easing grief, and to softening how we speak to ourselves.
Metaphysical Traditions:
Regarded in tradition as the stone of unconditional love, kept close for comfort and reassurance.
Cool Facts:
Rose quartz owes its pink to microscopic fibres of the mineral dumortierite woven through the quartz.
Rose quartz beads have been found in Mesopotamia dating to around 7000 BC, making it one of the oldest worked gemstones.
It almost never forms sharp crystals – it grows instead as massive, cloudy veins in pegmatite.
