Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with fresh energy, clearing stagnation and lifting the mood. In crystal lore it is also linked to the bones and joints, to the digestion, and to clearing stagnant energy from a room or a rut.

Metaphysical Traditions:
Regarded in tradition as an amplifier and cleanser, used to shift stale energy in a room.

Cool Facts:
Calcite is calcium carbonate – the same mineral as chalk, marble and seashells, and one of the most common on Earth.
It is the standard for hardness 3 on the Mohs scale, so it can be scratched with a copper coin.
Clear calcite shows double refraction: look through it and you see two images.
