Malachite
Stone of Guidance
Heart and Solar Plexus Chakras
Scorpio · Capricorn

Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with transformation, protection during change and following your inner guidance. In crystal lore it is also linked to the heart and to women's wellbeing – the midwife stone – and to easing through times of change.

Metaphysical Traditions:
Known in tradition as the "midwife stone", carried through times of transition and new beginnings.

Cool Facts:
Malachite's banding records how the copper-rich water that formed it ebbed and flowed over thousands of years.
The ancient Egyptians ground it into the green eye paint worn by Cleopatra.
It should never be soaked or put in water, and it is best handled polished – raw malachite dust is not something to breathe in.
