About Cavansite –

Cavansite forms small, intense blue rosettes and sprays of crystals, often sitting on white stilbite or other zeolites. The electric colour against a pale matrix makes it one of the most eye-catching mineral specimens you can own.

It crystallises in gas cavities in basalt lava flows, alongside zeolites, as vanadium-bearing water slowly deposits minerals; the Wagholi quarries near Pune in India are the famous source.
