Lapis Lazuli
Stone of Wisdom
Third Eye and Throat Chakras
Sagittarius · September birthstone (historic)

Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with inner wisdom, clarity and calm self-expression. In crystal lore it is also linked to the throat, the eyes and the head, to restful sleep, and to speaking your truth with confidence.

Metaphysical Traditions:
Regarded for thousands of years as a stone of truth and royalty, aligned with the Third Eye Chakra.

Cool Facts:
Lapis lazuli is a rock, not a single mineral: deep blue lazurite, white calcite and flecks of golden pyrite.
Ground into powder it became ultramarine, the most expensive pigment of the Renaissance, reserved for the Virgin Mary's robes.
The finest lapis has been mined in the Sar-e-Sang valley of Afghanistan for over 6,000 years.
