Cool Facts: The Libyan desert glass stone is tektite, fused with extraterrestrial material and the earth, these yellow crystals rained down on the earth, just like Moldavite. It was officially discovered in 1932 by P. Clayton, but has a long history that traces all the way back to Ancient Egypt.
