Traditionally March's full moon is known as the "Worm Moon" or sometimes the "Goose" or "Eagle" Moon and it occurs on the 7th of March this year. In the Celtic Lunar Tree Zodiac, March is the month of the Ash tree, one of the three trees seen as sacred by the ancient Celtic Druids. Read on to find out more about the Ash Moon and some crystal recommendations for this month.
March's Full Moon - 7th of March
March's tree is the Ash, often associated with the Norse World Tree as well as transformational magic and spiritual journeys. It was one of the three main trees held sacred by the Ancient druids along with Oak and Thorn (although they also held many different species of tree in high regard). The energies of this tree are all about personal development and growth, creativity and focusing on your inner self.
Our affirmation this month is all about the power of creativity and it's ability to aid us on our journey of self discovery and personal development. Sometimes we can feel we lack creativity, especially if we can't find it in the more typical areas of life. However, it is important to remember that creativity is a vital aspect of our knowledge and that it is within all of us. Identifying a way we can make this creative energy flourish will help you on your journey of personal fulfilment and satisfaction.
CRYSTAL RECOMMENDATIONS
This month I have put together three crystal recommendations based around the creative and self development energies of the Ash tree. To enjoy their benefits, keep them near you in tumble or jewellery form or decorate your home or altar space with them, they can also be included in any of your usual spiritual rituals e.g meditation or crystal gridding.
