Full Moon & Celtic Zodiac
This month's full moon is on the 30th of August and is a Blue Supermoon. Its a busy time for full moons this month, with the full supermoon on the 30th actually being the second supermoon of the month. Super moons orbit closer to the earth than other full moons meaning they appear bigger and brighter in the sky with some believing this makes them more powerful, particularly when it comes to cleansing and charging your crystals or incorporating the full moon into your practice. A Blue Supermoon is a particularly rare event (hence the phrase, once in a blue moon) only occurring once every 5 to 10 years!
This month's Celtic Tree Zodiac are both Holly (July 7th to August 4th) and Hazel ( August 5th to September 1st).
