Traditionally associated with change, intuition and protecting your own energy. In crystal lore it is also linked to easing a scattered mind, to steadying you through transition, and to bringing back a sense of magic.

Metaphysical Traditions:
Regarded in tradition as a stone of transformation and a shield for the aura, long carried by those working through change.

Cool Facts:
The flash is called labradorescence – light bouncing off microscopic layers inside the feldspar, splitting into colour like oil on water.
It was named after Labrador in Canada, where Moravian missionaries recorded it in 1770.
Inuit tradition holds that the northern lights were once trapped in the rocks of the Labrador coast until a warrior struck them free with his spear.
