    About Moonstone  –

Moonstone is a feldspar with a soft, floating glow called adularescence, a billowy blue-white light that moves across the stone as you turn it. It ranges from colourless to peach, grey and cream, and has been treasured as a jewellery stone for centuries.

It forms as potassium and sodium feldspars separate into ultra-thin alternating layers while slowly cooling in igneous and metamorphic rocks; the layers scatter light to create the glow.
