Stone of Heaven and Earth
Third Eye and Heart Chakras

Holistic Healing:
Traditionally associated with insight, transformation and following inner guidance. In crystal lore it is also linked to the head and the heart, to easing through times of change, and to opening up intuition.
Metaphysical Traditions:
Regarded in tradition as combining azurite's stone of heaven with malachite's stone of guidance – sky and earth in one piece.
Cool Facts:
Azurite and malachite are both copper carbonates, and azurite slowly turns into malachite as it weathers – so the two are very often found growing together.
Both were ground into pigments: azurite for medieval blues, malachite for Egyptian eye paint.
Most specimens come from copper mines in Morocco, Namibia and Arizona.
