Agate is a special stone for us, as it is the stone of St Andrews (where the shop is!) and a national stone of Scotland. 
 
Known as the stone of balance, it is an excellent stone for emotional stability, cleansing the aura and increasing creativity.

Cool fact: There is evidence that shows that these gemstones were in use as far back as 20000 BC to 16000 BC and used by civilisations as the Stone Age and the Ancient Greeks
